Student Association

The Student Association is run by students, for students and consists of Executive members and Class Representatives. There are three Executive Teams located in Prince Albert, Saskatoon, and Regina. These teams help maintain communication with students and faculty of SIIT to help better student life, experiences, and success for present and future students through regular meetings.

The Executive Team

Each year you will have the opportunity to run for a seat on the executive team. Depending on location, elections will happen in the fall or spring. Positions that are available each year:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary

Class Representatives

Each year students in their program have the opportunity to better their fellow classmates experience at SIIT by participating in their locations Student Association. The Class Representative role is a shared responsibility of up to two (2) classmates in a single program and helps to address student issues/topics at Student Association meetings, and relay important information about upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Volunteer in this role and it can help you to enhance your resume and scholarship applications.
